Chestnut Arabian stallion with a white blaze, a blue right eye, front socks, disconnected white bolt on left knee, rear stockings. He is a sabino and may be double registered as a pinto.

Zander is a stunningly handsome colt with rhythmical, flowing movement and a look-at-me presence. His beautifully dished face, tiny muzzle, and tightly tipped ears are contrasted by one blue and one brown eye. While we understand that some breeders do not like blue eyes, we are confident that those fanciers who enjoy sabino-colored and unusual Arabians, will look at his quality and see how much he has to offer. His pedigree does not carry unknown ancestors bred simply in the hopes of finding color!

He is very balanced front and rear, with a topline that never disappoints. Zander’s head and neck are well set-on, and he has a clean throatlatch, and a lovely, natural crest that breaks at the poll. He is trotty enough to show in English, yet catty enough on his feet that he could do reining or jumping. He has an alert, curious temperament, and enjoys being a clown.

A son of the third foal crop of CJA High Khalibur (15.2H), he is showing the extreme quality this young stallion is producing. Khalibur has a Register of Merit in pinto halter, and is a stunning chestnut and white sabino pinto. He recently won a liberty class at an open show, and is now starting under saddle, so look for him in the performance ring in the future. You’ll find greats such as Khalahari Wind+, Khutty Sark, Khemosabi++++//, Fortel, Kimfa and Gdansk+ in his ancestry.

Zanders’s dam Zuzia is a tall mare (16 hands!) sired by Astoundd, a reserve national winning youth and western horse. Astoundd is in turn sired by Padron’s Psyche, US National Reserve champion stallion, and sire of champions, like his sire, Padron. Astoundd is out of the lovely winning mare, Poise and Ivy, who is a Brass daughter. Zuzia’s dam, Zsoe, is a Monogramm daughter out of a beautiful Aladdinn daughter named Zynfandel. Zander is Zuzia’s first foal, and she already demonstrated her talent as a broodmare.

Zander is destined to sire winners in the sport horse, halter, and performance arenas. There is no ‘weak’ side to his pedigree, as the mares are also winners and excellent producers themselves. With the top stallions of the breed, such as Monogramm, Khemosabi++++//, Padron’s Psyche, Padron, Aladdinn, Gdansk+, Brass, Kimfa, Khutty Sark and Bask++ in his pedigree, how could he be anything else other than destined to perform and sire? His showy presence and amazing coloration are just icing on an already delicious pirate king!
